‘Waste not…….’
Nowadays, when you receive a delivery of Stereo grass paper or raffia it may not arrive in a bright, shiny Stereo branded box but more likely will appear in a clearly well-travelled, plain cardboard container with factory markings. That is because, when we take a shipment of materials in to our warehouse in East Sussex, if the original factory packaging is in good condition, then we’ll simply re use it for onward deliveries. Similarly, we frequently have to ship cut lengths of wallcoverings to customers and, as these invariably don’t fit securely within a standard size box, so we then use discarded paper or cardboard to pack out and protect the material within the container.
At a time when recycling is more important than ever before, it’s simple measures like these that ensure that we re use materials wherever possible and that very little is ever thrown away
